As a practice we encourage patients to share their comments and suggestions regarding the care that they receive. There are several methods available to provide your feedback; in writing for the attention of the Practice Manager, via the NHS choices website, using our suggestion box or completing a "Friends and Family" survey.
"We've been going to this surgery for 27 years and seen many changes always to the better. Our children have grown up under the watchful eye of the surgery staff, late evening calls for high temperature, projectile vomiting, chicken pox, ear infection...we knew that our children were safe once the doctor had seen them. GPs always have time to listen, they have empathy and take you seriously. They offers sensible advice and tell you the truth. My mother in law died of cancer, my father in law had a heart attack.
We had support as a family. My father, who lived with us for seven years, had the best service we could wish for, right up to the moment he died. Dad was nearly 95 and was always treated well; the GPs always spoke to him and asked for his wishes/opinions. If he was ill and unable to go to the surgery we had a home visit. The doctors were always polite and dad felt safe, understood and encouraged. The reception staff, unfortunately, get the brunt of people's annoyance / anger when trying to book appointments or patients wants information in a hurry. It must be hard to listen to angry or demanding patients who may not realize that the surgery by now have over 7000 registered patients. Well done support staff, you are doing a great job."

Myself and my Family have been with Hathern/Maxwell Drive Surgeries for approx 4 years. I can honestly say that this is the best Doctors Surgery I have ever had. Every single member of staff and GP's are first class. I have one teenage child who has a lot of chronic medical conditions and the rest of the Family use the practice when needed. Our usual doctor is a wonderful GP and very knowledgeable, takes time to listen and really show understanding, never makes you feel uncomfortable at all. Recently, I have had to see two different doctors and they were great. We have also had a recent help and support from another doctor. They were all so caring and welcoming and willing to listen to the concerns and give you lots of support and advice on a plan going forward. The staff in the dispensary at Hathern are so friendly and helpful and again, nothing is any trouble what so ever. The receptionist are also extremely supportive and understanding and do all that they can to help you. I do recommend both Practices to friends and always speak very highly of everyone that together make such a fantastic team. Thank you all very much...A Team to be proud of.!!!

Had a great experience here today with an on-the-day appointment. Was able to get through on the phone in the morning quite quickly despite being number 17 in the queue, got an appointment for the late morning. Was waiting 10-15 mins (to be expected at any surgery!). The doctor was very helpful, friendly and happy to talk about my questions. Got my issue resolved very quickly and easily, will definitely be using this surgery again! Also the receptionist was great, although busy they took the time to change some personal details on my account with no delay.
